Copmanthorpe Martial Arts is a Long's Black Belt gyms located at Howell Hall, Copmanthorpe at the South of the city perfect for people living in the Copmanthorpe and surround villages. Long's Black Belt Schools have been teaching martial arts across the city for over 15 years and looking forward to building our new school to the same success as the others.
Long's Black Belt Schools' Copmanthorpe club is a family focused, friendly club with lots of families who train with us. Lead instructor Nicole Pratt is a multiple British champion and has been part of the Great Britain team. She runs the school with her business partner Ryan Garbutt who has lots of experience in Karate, Thai Boxing, MMA and Kickboxing
Our Copmanthorpe club caters for all different skill levels for a wide range of ages.
|Little Dragons||Children Aged 3 to 6 years old|

|Adult Kickboxing||For adults aged 12+|
Our lessons are a mixture of high tempo cardio workout with the technique and skills of martial arts. Each lesson consists of a warm up, skill / technique work and finishes with a fast paced burnout. More advanced members can then take part in light sparring.
We also offer a range of private lessons, aimed for those wanting to advance their skills in a one-to-one environment. This can be arranged privately with a member of our instructor team.
New members are always welcome, but all we ask is you let us know in advance so our instructors have time to plan and prepare for your arrival. To do so, please fill in the free trial form at the bottom of this page and one of our instructors will call you to arrange a suitable time. We do not insist on long term contracts or high joining fees, we simply ask that you purchase your martial arts insurance and training kit after your free trial and pay your rolling monthly fee.
